The independent 12-member Steering Committee is charged with driving the Educational Resource Planning process, ensuring that key planning objectives are met, and serving as a conduit of information and discussion between the EVSC and the Community Education Committee.

The Steering Committee will convene after each Community Education Committee meeting to review the upcoming meeting’s agenda and objectives in relation to the results of the previous meeting(s); and to discuss, acquire, develop and/or request any background materials, speakers, research data, etc. necessary to enable the Community Education Committee to fulfill the objectives set forth for subsequent meetings.
